The Humble ISD
Police Department is a proud organization of dedicated men and
women, who strive to serve, educate and provide a safe and
secure learning environment for the
students and staff of the Humble Independent School District.
This
is truly an exciting time for the Department as we embark on a
campaign to enhance our commitment and service by reaffirming
our philosophy of “prevention before apprehension”.
The Humble ISD Police
Department is a group of dedicated professional men and women
committed to support the district’s mission by providing
service-oriented enforcement of the law, maintaining the peace
and protecting our school community.
All
HISD Police Officers are commissioned peace officers licensed by
the State of Texas. T hey
have the same arrest powers and authority as other Peace
Officers in the State of Texas, with one difference; The Humble
ISD Police Department is a highly trained
force specializing in the critical but delicate protection of
the students and staff of the district. Utilizing special
training and police tactics that focus on the areas of school
related law enforcement and protection, the Department works together to address the very special needs
of our schools.
The HISD PD is committed to the protection and guidance of the
districts student
population by with the district’s
number one priority; student achievement. By espousing these
values, we pledge to provide optimal service and to support the
needs of our students, our employees, and our community.

DEPARTMENT PROMOTIONS
ANNOUNCED
The Humble
ISD Police Department is proud to announce the promotion
of five of our officers.
Senior Officer E.
Journet has been promoted to the rank of
Corporal. Officers J. Campbell and J. Sanchez
have been promoted to the rank of Investigator and
Officers B. Brown and S. Sharp has been promoted to the
rank of Senior Officer.
Corporal Journet will be
the acting Corporal over the Community Services Division
taking the place of Corporal M. Saldivar who will now be
the day shift patrol supervisor.
RANDLE OFFICER OF THE YEAR
Senior Officer Beverly
Randle has been selected as Police
Officer
of the Year by the Humble Area Chamber of Commerce.
Officer Randle is currently over the Humble ISD Police
Department's Truancy Division. Officer Randle
has worked tirelessly to build the truancy program to
what it is today. Just as an example, between
August 2007 and March of 2008,

HISD Bond Passes; HISDPD to get new police station:
With overwhelming
support, voters in the Humble Independent School
District backed a $245 million schoolhouse bond.
$72.9 million dollars will be allotted for
upgrading support facilities and programs such as
sprucing up Turner Stadium as
well as a new police station.
