ABOUT THE CHIEF
Chief Cook began his law enforcement career
in 1976. In the past thirty years Chief Cook has worked for
municipalities, county and state agencies. Chief Cook has
earned a
Bachelor’s
Degree of Science in Criminal Justice from Southwest
University.
Chief
Cook’s certifications and licenses include a Master Peace
Officer Certification, Police Instructor, Crime Prevention
Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor,
ALERT Instructor and Arson Investigations Certification.
Chief Cook began his
employment with the Humble ISD Police Department in 1997 when
he was appointed Captain. In 2003 Chief Don Maddox retired
and Solomon Cook was appointed Chief of Police of the Humble
ISD Police Department.
