Erica Journet – Community Services Division Corporal
Erica Journet graduated from the University
of Houston Downtown Police Academy in 2004. In April, 2005, she
began working for the Humble ISD Police Department. Officer
Journet’s lifelong dream was to take a proactive approach in law
enforcement for the safety of our youth.
Corporal Journet currently teaches an
anti-child abduction program, as well as L.E.T.S. Program for
elementary students throughout the Humble Independent School
District. Officer Journet is proud to be a part of establishing
the L.E.T.S. Program in Humble ISD.
This year Humble Elementary was
excited to pilot a new Martial Arts Character
Development after school program. The school chose 40 students
from among almost 200 third, fourth and fifth graders who wished
to participate in the program. These students were taught martial
arts lessons twice a week after school for eight weeks.
